Rows of motorised measuring tapes record the amount of time that visitors stay in the installation. As a computerised tracking system detects the presence of a person, the closest measuring tape starts to project upwards. When the tape reaches around 3m high it crashes and recoils back.

Each hour, the system prints the total number of minutes spent by the sum of all visitors. Commissioned by the Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney.

Showroom Belgium makes its first appearance at London Fashion Week.
From 17 to 21 February 2012, four Belgium based designers will present their collections at Somerset House.
Flanders Fashion Institute asked us to design a video installation to be featured during this event.
The video was shot entirely at the Royal Museum of Fine Arts in Antwerp, which is currently closed for renovations until 2017. The video makes use of this unique location.
Like the museum's art pieces, the model, featuring pieces from the designers' collection, is carefully wrapped, stored and transported to other destinations ...

Thoughts - Tom Myers' BMW R1200GS

In this short video produced by Curbsyde Productions, Touratech-USA's President, Tom Myers, shares his thoughts on the BMW R1200GS motorcycle that he rode on the Utah Backcountry Discovery Route (UTBDR) expedition.

The only 1200cc Adventure bike that made the trip, Tom was able to negotiate a wide variety of terrain, from slick rock to thick mud, riding more than 800 miles across the state of Utah.

Turntables and a Triumph Motorcycle

Roy Griffith owns the Turntable Shoppe in Indianapolis and rides a 1972 Triumph Bonneville. Analog music and vintage motorcycles are part of everyday life for Roy; he's no stranger to the repairs and maintenance that come along with them. His guitar playing and lyric-writing are inspired by earlier days of garage, glam, psychedelic and other rock genres that date back to when a good stylus and well-tuned turntable were the main source of music absorption.

This day at Teahupoo- Aug 27th 2011 during the Billabong Pro waiting period is what many are calling the biggest and gnarliest Teahupoo ever ridden. Chris Bryan was fortunate enough to be there working for Billabong on a day that will go down in the history of big wave surfing. The French Navy labeled this day a double code red prohibiting and threatening to arrest anyone that entered the water.
Kelly Slater described the day by saying "witnessing this was a draining feeling being terrified for other people's lives all day long, it's life or death. Letting go of that rope one time can change your life and not many people will ever experience that in their life."

This was the RUMBLE that rocked Marseille,” it says on one of the amazing retro-flavored flyers announcing a party at the city’s infamous Le Duke bar, and this line pretty much nails it: the name Le Duke stands for that rumble, for that massive wave of sound that has been rocking and connecting the scene in France’s largest city on the Mediterranean coast since the bar opened its doors in 2010.

“Le Duke is special because it is the only rock & roll bar in Marseille, period,” claims Raphaël Degoix-Messand aka DJ R*A*F, the man responsible for the right mix of 50’s rock, garage, rhythm & blues and northern soul both as a disc jockey and booker for the bar. Initiated and run by former skaters, scooter and rock music lovers for life, it has quickly become the favorite hang-out spot for punks, mods, tattoo artists, bikers and the local skateboard scene in Marseille.

Before this eclectic crowd of likeminded rock aficionados gathers and the night kicks off in downtown Marseille with a round of drinks and some vintage tunes, it’s time for a skateboarding mission with Le Duke’s regulars, checking out a DIY skate spot high up in the mountains and paying a visit to the iconic Marseille bowl at the beach.

Pour les "autres", il paraît que rouler en Harley, c'est pas rouler à moto. Il paraît que rouler en Harley, c'est prendre le risque de se couper de la communauté motarde, de laisser croire qu'on a renoncé à tout plaisir de rouler, voire de pilotage. Ah, les autres ! Alors moi, j'ai vouloir savoir ce qu'il en était réellement. Un brin provoque, j'ai pris une Fat Bob et son bon twin de 1803 cm3 pour traverser l'Angleterre et finalement prendre le ferry à Liverpool et rejoindre l'île de Man, LE pays de la vitesse sur route, des sportives et sportifs, sans concession. Et dans la montagne, là où la limitation de vitesse n'existe pas, j'y ai défié le Honda VTR-SP1 Club de France ! Sûr qu'à l'heure qu'il est, ils sont tous partis acheter une Harley !
